With "The Hewer" we pay homage to the hard working miners of the Upper Peninsula. The pickaxe and shovel are iconic tools of the Upper Peninsula, lending to our mining heritage. The hewer was the person holding the pickaxe and responsible for loosening the rocks. The job was also known as the "breaker" or "pickman". This hoodie is 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester, 10.0 oz fabric.

I got this for a Christmas present for my husband. He's wearing it right now! He loves it. It's a quality, warm sweatshirt. It's a little big on him, but he likes his hoodies bigger so he can layer underneath it. He's actually more of a medium, so I would say that it's probably true to size.
