Description
This postcard is an ode to the native bird species of the Great Lakes that border Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota & Pennsylvania. It features illustrated versions of the black-crowned night heron, ring-billed gull, American bittern, the American white pelican, forster's tern and common merganser. They are labeled with a hand-drawn, cursive font. The postcard reads "Birds of the Great Lakes" in navy blue writing over a light blue background. A silhouette of the five Great Lakes appears in white in the center of the postcard. There are decorative yellow dots and green grass also drawn amongst the birds on the face of the postcard.
The back of each postcard features 3 address lines and the silhouette the five Great Lakes to mark the spot for stamp placement in black and white.
These postcards are professionally printed in full color and measure 4 by 6 inches each. The front features UV gloss coating, while the back is matte and an ideal surface for writing.
